“In Summary my program takes shape by encompassing speech, song, movement, dance and drama including improvisation techniques learning to listen to different sounds by creating them from our bodies and a range of un-tuned instruments. All of this is carefully scaffolded to the children’s learning. I use a variety of other props to help stimulate the children’s imagination and enjoyment. Puppets are a big part of my program as they are visual and add an extra element of fun and fantasy for learning songs and imitating in movement and music games. Books are a wonderful resource as well as materials such as ribbons and scarves.
All of this is sure to bring great early memories about music and foster a lifelong appreciation of music and music making.” Kylie Cooper
